The Role
As the Product Manager for Biotech, you navigate the intersection of "wet lab" biology and "dry lab" computation. You will lead the development of bioinformatics pipelines and data-driven research tools for our biotech clients. Your role is to ensure that the computational work we deliver aligns perfectly with clinical goals, regulatory requirements, and the scientific method.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific Translation: Turn biological hypotheses and research goals into structured computational projects for our Bioinformatics Engineers and Data Scientists.
Project Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the complex timelines of biotech projects, ensuring that data processing keeps pace with clinical trial milestones or R&D phases.
Regulatory Alignment: Partner with our FDA Regulatory Affairs lead to ensure that all product features and data handling processes meet US compliance standards from the start.
Data Strategy: Define how multi-omic data (genomics, proteomics, etc.) should be structured and visualized to provide the most value to the client’s scientific leads.
Global Delivery Liaison: Synchronize North American research requirements with the technical execution of our partners in Taiwan, managing the nuance of global scientific collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Education: A degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biotech, or Bioengineering) is required to understand the underlying science of our projects.
Experience: 4+ years of Product Management experience within the Biotech, Pharma, or HealthTech space.
Domain Expertise: Familiarity with the drug discovery lifecycle, clinical trial data, and the challenges of high-throughput screening.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage high-complexity projects with long timelines and stringent accuracy requirements.
Preferred Skills
Bilingual Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin (Highly desired for coordinating with Taiwan-based biotech hubs).
Experience with AI-driven drug discovery platforms or digital health products.
